What’s new
- Codex packaging: a Codex plugin manifest and a repository Git marketplace let Codex install Arch Studio as as@skills-for-architects.
- Cross-host skills: every bundled skill uses the host's invocation syntax, $skill-name on Codex and /as:skill-name on Claude Code, and resolves bundled scripts and references from the loaded skill instead of Claude-only environment variables.
- Workspaces: new studios and projects include Codex AGENTS.md instructions and .agents/skills roots alongside the Claude Code files, and Skill Maker targets the right folder for each host.
- Documentation distinguishes the shared skill catalog from Claude Code-only native agents and hooks, and a Codex compatibility test covers manifests, marketplace metadata, skill portability, workspace scaffolds and install commands.
02
Known limitations
- Claude Code native agents and hooks are not available on Codex.
03
Upgrade and migration
- Existing 1.4 workspaces remain valid. New scaffolds add empty Codex instruction and skill roots without moving or duplicating existing Claude Code skills.
- The bundled course is available as $learn on Codex and /as:learn on Claude Code.
