# Architecture Studio

> Architectural workflow instructions, references, and supported tools for agents, delivered through authenticated MCP.

Use Arch Studio for architecture and AEC tasks. The host owns its model loop, project-file access, approvals, and output records. Public documentation does not grant tool access.

## Releases

- [Release history](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases.md): Current hosted and public OSS releases, with separate counts and limitations.
- [Arch Studio 1.5.1.2 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-5-1-2.md): A content-only patch that presents Arch Studio as Studio, Knowledge, Tooling and Memory. The first pillar is now Studio, covering account and access, configuration, standards and assurance, with no runtime or compatibility change.
- [Arch Studio 1.5.1.2 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/hosted-1-5-1-2-0692a162.md): A content-only patch that presents Arch Studio as Studio, Knowledge, Tooling and Memory. The first pillar is now Studio, covering account and access, configuration, standards and assurance, with no runtime or compatibility change.
- [Arch Studio 1.5.1 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-5-1.md): Central studio policy, clearer skill governance, source-faithful specification roles and studio-name branding, available on MCP and as the open-source plugin.
- [Arch Studio 1.5.0 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-5-0.md): The open-source Arch Studio 1.5.0 for local installation in Codex and Claude Code, with the same content as the hosted Arch Studio 1.5. Every skill is a complete specification that your assistant performs with its own tools; no bundled script runs and nothing needs installing beyond the plugin. It adds fifteen skills, original-source navigation and CSV project registers.
- [Arch Studio 1.4.5 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-4-5.md): The current open-source Arch Studio release for local installation in Codex and Claude Code. It fixes Claude Desktop installation by moving teaching examples and the Skill Maker template out of the installable skills folder.
- [Arch Studio 1.4.4 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-4-4.md): A hotfix for Claude Code hook compatibility: hooks no longer block ordinary work when a JSON decoder is missing or a payload is malformed.
- [Arch Studio 1.4.3 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-4-3.md): A maintenance patch that makes the skill context audit read skill descriptions correctly.
- [Arch Studio 1.4.2 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-4-2.md): Codex becomes a supported host, alongside Claude Code, without changing the as plugin identity or the studio and project record formats.
- [Arch Studio 1.4.1 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-4-1.md): A Windows compatibility fix for the repository lint scripts.
- [Arch Studio 1.4.0 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-4-0.md): Arch Studio becomes an extensible, local-first studio framework: user-owned studio and project workspaces, firm and project skills, linked project records and portable CSV data, installed under the shorter as plugin identity.
- [Arch Studio 1.3.0 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-3-0.md): Ten plugins become one: Arch Studio installs as a single flat plugin, architecture-studio, with all 40 skills, 7 agents and 2 hooks, plus a guided /learn course and a round of correctness fixes.
- [Arch Studio 1.2.1 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-2-1.md): A README update summarizing what's new in 1.2.
- [Arch Studio 1.2.0 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-2-0.md): Persistent project memory arrives with the project dossier plugin and decision records, agents register as native Claude Code subagents and hooks register automatically.
- [Arch Studio 1.1.3 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-1-3.md): A README refresh.
- [Arch Studio 1.1.2 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-1-2.md): The materials research plugin becomes standalone, NYC zoning terminology is clarified and the conventions guide becomes self-contained.
- [Arch Studio 1.1.1 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-1-1.md): A conventions update: every shipped change now moves the version number, a git tag and a GitHub release together.
- [Arch Studio 1.1.0 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-1-0.md): Conventions and quality checks: a PATTERNS.md reference for plugin conventions, a repository lint script with continuous integration, a marker-driven disclaimer check and skill counts that match the actual files.
- [Arch Studio 1.0.0 release notes](https://architecturestudio.ai/releases/public-1-0-0.md): The first public release of Arch Studio: a Claude Code plugin system that turns Claude into an architecture, design and AEC assistant, with specialist agents, skills across nine plugins, shared rules and hooks.
