01
What’s new
- One plugin: the ten-plugin marketplace is consolidated into a single flat plugin, architecture-studio. One install loads every skill, agent and hook; no skill was dropped.
- Skill renames: skills-menu is now skills (still invoked as /skills) and history is now site-history (invoke /site-history instead of /history). All other skill names are unchanged.
- The post-output-metadata hook is removed. The plugin keeps post-write-disclaimer-check and pre-commit-spec-lint.
- /learn: a guided, resumable Claude Code course for architects with eight hands-on modules on a bundled sandbox project, a starter CLAUDE.md template and three example skills to study and modify. It opens with a choice of five fictional practice projects (loft conversion, healthcare campus, workplace, restaurant and ground-up school), shows an ASCII progress bar, and /studio routes newcomers to it.
- Disclaimer pipeline: all 11 regulatory skills now end regulatory output with the canonical disclaimer block and the marker the hook checks for; zoning-envelope carries a variant for its 3D viewer.
- Skill descriptions are rewritten with trigger and boundary phrasing across 32 skills.
- The lint script is rewritten for the flat layout, deriving counts from the tree and pinning the 1.3.0 fixes with regression checks.
- Fix: NYC Open Data dataset IDs and field names are corrected and live-verified for nyc-property-report and the six NYC data skills, with one shared reference and documented address-to-BBL resolution.
- Fix: hooks detect real git commit invocations, read written files from disk, handle both Write and Edit payloads, return proper block decisions and work on BSD systems.
- Fix: occupancy-calculator reads its bundled data from its own skill folder instead of a hardcoded path.
- Fix: EPD comparison and specification baselines must be citable, with a named source and year; uncitable baselines are omitted.
- Fix: zoning and occupancy content corrections in zoning-analysis-nyc, zoning-envelope and occupancy-calculator, with smaller documentation fixes in other skills.
02
Known limitations
- Existing per-plugin installs do not receive this or any future update until they are replaced with the single plugin.
03
Upgrade and migration
- Uninstall each old per-plugin install you have (00-due-diligence through 09-project-dossier) with claude plugin uninstall <plugin>@skills-for-architects.
- Refresh and install the single plugin: claude plugin marketplace update skills-for-architects, then claude plugin install architecture-studio@skills-for-architects.
- Use /site-history instead of /history.
- Community marketplace listings that pin an earlier commit or reference plugins/<name> paths no longer resolve. Re-pin to the v1.3.0 tag and replace the ten entries with one architecture-studio entry.
