Compare product options in Google Sheets

Use Arch Studio with ChatGPT or Claude to bring a brief in Google Docs and product sources in Drive into a source-linked comparison in Sheets.

Start with
An authorized brief in Google Docs, candidate product documents in Drive and a Google Sheet, or exports of those files.
What it helps produce
A reviewable comparison with product IDs, dimensions, prices where verified, source links and unresolved fields.

Arch Studio + ChatGPT or Claude + Google Sheets, Docs and Drive

Connect Arch Studio and provide authorized access to the selected Docs, Drive files and Sheet, or supply exports. Access to Drive does not establish access to every file or support for every file format. Reading a sheet does not establish write access. Use a supported editing connection only when available; otherwise prepare a workbook or CSV for you to import into Google Sheets.

Try a first task.

An example prompt to adapt with your own brief and inputs.

Use Arch Studio to read this brief in Google Docs and the selected product documents in Drive, research the candidates and prepare a comparison for this Google Sheet. If those sources cannot be read, ask for authorized exports. Keep the source brief and documents unchanged. Keep source links, units and unknown values explicit. Show me the proposed columns and changes before writing. Preserve existing formulas and unrelated cells. If you cannot edit the sheet, give me a workbook or CSV to import. Check the saved or exported result and state which one you verified.

The full catalog lives in your assistant once Arch Studio is connected. Ask: Norma, what can you do? List the skills, tools, agents and workflows available in this host, grouped by practice area.

How the work comes together.

  1. Read the selected Docs and Drive files

Read the authorized brief and product sources through the available connection, or use supplied exports. Confirm file versions and retain links to each source.

  2. Research candidates with Arch Studio

Check the brief and gather product facts with their sources. Leave missing or conflicting values unresolved.

  3. Prepare and review the comparison

ChatGPT or Claude proposes columns and changes. After review, it updates the sheet through an available editing connection or produces a file for manual import.

  4. Verify the actual result

Reopen the saved sheet or exported file, check product IDs and units, and confirm existing formulas and unrelated cells were preserved. Report what was actually checked.

Use it in your practice.

Start with the first skill, review its output and deliberately carry the relevant records into the next step. Add your firm’s templates, review responsibilities and acceptance criteria.

Make it your own.

Bring your standards, source material and review criteria. Define the expected output and where a person checks the work, then adapt the method as your practice learns. Keep firm-specific instructions in your studio, outside the installed plugin, so updates preserve your work.
