Import product data

Turn product notes and lists into a structured FF&E schedule.

What it does

Give Norma product notes, a table or a source schedule. Norma organizes the supplied facts into a reviewable schedule, preserves tags and unknowns, and calculates totals where quantities and prices are explicit.

Install

Connect Arch Studio in Claude or ChatGPT, then return to your conversation and ask Norma for the task. Your assistant uses its available file access and tools to carry out the skill.

Versions and source

Arch Studio 1.5.1.2 · MCP

Available as MCP workflow instructions in compatible Claude and ChatGPT connections. The assistant performs the work with its own tools and permissions and verifies the actual result before reporting completion.

Arch Studio 1.5.1.2 · Open source

Included in the public plugin for Claude Code and Codex. In this version: Import product data — Build a formatted FF&E schedule from notes, lists or CSV data, with optional library saving.

Usage

Ask Norma in plain language. With Arch Studio connected through MCP, no $ or / command is required. Norma is your assistant working with Arch Studio.

Use Arch Studio to turn this sample list into a schedule: CH-01, Example Chair, quantity 4, USD 250 each; TB-01, Example Table, quantity 1, price not supplied. Preserve the tags and leave missing specifications unknown.

The full catalog lives in your assistant once Arch Studio is connected. Ask: Norma, what can you do? List the skills, tools, agents and workflows available in this host, grouped by practice area.

What it organizes

Product fields

Norma extracts names, brands, quantities, prices, dimensions and selected finishes from supplied or retrieved evidence.

Tags and categories

Norma preserves supplied tags and maps supported categories. Missing tags are proposed for your review.

Totals and gaps

Norma calculates supported extended prices and identifies incomplete totals when prices are missing.

Saving choices

Norma can return the table without saving. Adopted schedules and reusable-library records each use their own saving method.

Workflow

  1. Read — Norma reads the supplied product data.
  2. Structure — Norma prepares the schedule and marks missing fields.
  3. Review — You review the table and choose what should be adopted or saved.
  4. Save — Norma carries the selected records to the appropriate skill and checks any authorized save.

Pairs with

Clean product data. Norma can clean inconsistent formatting in the imported product rows.
