## What it does

Tell Norma which actions to add, change or close. Norma updates the owning register, preserves permanent task identities and source references, and reads back the saved changes.

Norma records an observable task, owner and due date. Unassigned owners and unknown due dates can remain explicit.

### Provenance

Norma links the task to the selected meeting, document or instruction and checks possible duplicates.

### Lifecycle history

Norma records completion, cancellation, reopening and corrections without deleting or reusing task identities.
